Overview

Euler’s Slack App helps your team collaborate with partners directly inside Slack — without changing how partners work.

Once installed, the app lets your team:

  • Send referrals to partners from Slack using slash commands.

  • Capture partner activity from shared Slack Connect channels automatically, turning inbound partner messages into structured referrals with DealFlow AI.

Your partners can continue using Slack as they always have — they don’t need to install or configure anything. When they share referral details in shared channels, your team can instantly process those messages with AI and keep statuses synced automatically.

Important: The Slack app is installed and used by Euler customers only.

Partners do not install the app or have access to its commands.

The Slack integration is currently in beta, which means new functionality and permissions are added frequently. You may occasionally be asked to reinstall the app during this period. To join the beta, email [email protected].

Installing the Slack App

  1. Log in to Euler.

  2. Navigate to Integrations in the left-hand menu.

  3. Scroll down to Slack and click Integrate.

  4. Complete the OAuth authorization flow and grant the requested permissions.

  5. You’ll be redirected back to Euler, and Slack will now appear as a connected integration in your account.

Adding the App to Partner Channels

Once installed, you’ll need to add Euler to your shared Slack Connect channels with partners.

  1. Inside Slack, open a partner channel.

  2. Type /invite @Euler and press Enter.

  3. After a few seconds, you’ll see a prompt to map the channel to a partner in Euler.

    • This mapping links that Slack Connect channel to a specific partner record.

    • Once mapped, any referral activity in that channel is automatically associated with the correct partner.

We recommend starting with one or two active partner channels before rolling out broadly — for example, those where partners most frequently send referrals.

Using Slash Commands

You can use slash commands anywhere in Slack to initiate outbound referrals.

/refer

Type /refer and press Enter to bring up two options:

  • Log a Referral – record a referral directly from Slack.

  • Send a Referral – share a referral form with a partner.

If you send a referral:

  • You’ll be asked to select the partner and form you want to use.

  • Once submitted, if that partner’s channel is connected to Euler, a success notification will automatically post to that channel.

  • If the Euler app isn’t in that channel, no Slack message will appear (since we can only post where Euler has been invited).

Using DealFlow AI

DealFlow AI allows your team to turn partner messages in shared Slack channels into structured referrals — automatically.

  1. Hover over a partner’s message in Slack.

  2. Click the three vertical dots (More actions).

  3. Select Create Lead with AI.

    • If you don’t see it, click More message shortcuts and search for “Create.”

  4. A dialog box will appear:

    • If the channel is already linked to a partner, you’ll see that listed.

    • If not, you can link the channel during this process.

  5. Choose which referral form you want to use.

    • Only inbound (from partner) referral forms will appear here.

  6. Wait a few seconds while the AI parses the message content (usually under a minute).

  7. Review the parsed data, referencing the original message (shown at the top) for any missing details.

  8. Click Submit to create the referral.

Once submitted:

  • A threaded response appears under the original message showing:

    • Referral status (e.g., Pending, Accepted, Rejected)

    • Company and contact details

    • Partner attribution

    • A button to Open Referral directly in Euler

As the referral status changes inside Euler, that same Slack message will automatically update.

Best Practices for Accurate AI Parsing

To create a clean and cohesive experience when referrals are posted back to Slack, we recommend confirming your referral forms have internal Euler values mapped for:

  • First Name

  • Last Name

  • Company

  • Email

These internal values are used to populate the summary message that appears in Slack (either in the channel or as a threaded response).

Missing mappings will not affect AI parsing or referral creation, but they may cause the return message to look incomplete or less polished.
