Overview
Euler's Slack app enables Partners to chat with PAM (Partner Account Manager) directly from Slack, submit referrals without leaving Slack, and get AI-powered assistance for managing their partnership activities.
Note: PAM in Slack is available only for Partners whose associated Euler customer has purchased/activated PAM for Partners.
1. Install / Connect Slack
To install the app, Partners must start in the Partner Portal:
Open Partner Portal → Settings
Select Slack
Click Integrate with Slack
You'll be redirected to Slack to authenticate and authorize the app in your workspace
Partner Portal → Settings → Slack integration page
2. Access Policy (Who Can Chat with PAM)
After Slack is connected, Partners can configure the access policy in Partner Portal → Settings → Slack:
Allow everyone in the Slack workspace to chat with PAM, or
Restrict access to only people who are registered in Euler
This ensures the Partner can control who can interact with PAM inside Slack.
Access policy settings in Partner Portal
3. Chat with PAM in Slack
To start a conversation:
In Slack, open Apps
Search for "Euler for Partners"
Open the app
Send a direct message to PAM
What PAM can help with:
Listing and summarizing agreements
Invoices and payment status (invoices)
Commission calculations and explanations
Referral and deal pipeline insights (referrals / deals)
Status lookups and quick Q&A based on available partner data
DM conversation with PAM in Slack
4. Per-Thread Customer Selection (Multi-Customer Partners)
If a Partner works with multiple Euler customers, PAM allows selecting a different customer context per conversation thread.
How it works:
If you have only 1 customer:
PAM automatically connects to that customer — no selection needed
You can start chatting immediately
If you have 2+ customers:
Send a DM to the Euler for Partners app
PAM shows customer selector buttons listing all available customers
Click the customer you want to discuss
PAM confirms: "Connected to [Customer Name]"
Your conversation in that thread is now scoped to that customer (24-hour session)
Key behaviors:
Each thread gets its own customer context — you can talk to different customers in different threads
Sessions last 24 hours per thread, then you'll need to re-select
Only customers with PAM enabled appear in the selector
If no customers have PAM enabled, you'll see a message explaining that PAM access is not currently available
5. Submit a Referral Using the /referral Slash Command
Partners can submit a referral directly from Slack:
In any Slack channel or DM, type:
/referralA loading modal appears while the system loads your partner context
If you have multiple customers: Select which customer to send the referral to
Select a referral form from the available types
Fill in the form fields (contact name, email, company, etc.)
Click Submit
After submission:
A confirmation message is posted to your DM with the app
If submitted from a channel, a confirmation is also posted to the channel
Both messages include an "Open Referral" button to view in the Partner Portal
The message shows the direction flow (e.g., Partner → Customer)
6. Submit a Referral Using "Send Referral with AI" Shortcut
Partners can also create a referral from an existing message with AI-powered auto-fill:
Hover or right-click a message in a Slack channel
Open message actions (the "..." menu or right-click)
Go to "Connect to apps"
Choose "Send referral with AI"
A loading modal appears while AI analyzes the message
If you have multiple customers: Select which customer to send the referral to
The form opens with fields pre-filled by AI (name, email, company, etc.)
Review the AI-extracted values, make any edits
Click Submit
AI Prefill Features:
Extracts contact name, email, company, and other relevant fields from the message
Smart matching against predefined dropdown options
You can always manually override any AI-suggested value
Note: This shortcut only works in channels — not in DMs or group DMs.

7. Referral Status Updates
When the status of a referral changes, the confirmation message in Slack is automatically updated to reflect the new status.
Status Indicators:
Status | Emoji | Meaning |
Pending | 🕓 | Referral submitted, awaiting review |
Approved | ✅ | Referral approved by customer |
Rejected | ❌ | Referral rejected |
In Progress
| ⏳ | Referral is being processed |
Completed | 🎉 | Referral successfully completed |
Updated Message Includes:
Status emoji and label
Direction flow (e.g., Partner → Customer or Customer → Partner)
Partner and customer company names
Contact name and company
"Open Referral" button to view in the Partner Portal
8. Open Referral Button & Redirect
Every referral confirmation and status update message includes an "Open Referral" button:
Click the "Open Referral" button
A loading spinner appears briefly
You're redirected to the correct page in the Partner Portal
How routing works:
The system detects whether you're the customer or the partner
Partners are redirected to the Partner Portal view of the referral
Customers are redirected to the Euler Dashboard view
9. PAM in Slack Connect Channels
Partners can also interact with PAM in Slack Connect channels shared with a customer — without needing to install any additional app.
How it works:
The customer adds their Euler app to a Slack Connect channel shared with your organization
The customer maps the channel to your partnership
From that point on, anyone in the channel can @mention the Euler app to interact with PAM
PAM responds with answers scoped to the specific customer-partner relationship
Key behaviors:
You don't need to install anything — the customer's Euler app appears as a bot in the shared channel
PAM's responses are scoped to the partnership between you and the customer who set up the channel
Both customer and partner team members can ask questions
PAM shows a "looking into this..." acknowledgment before responding
Type @Euler followed by your question

Troubleshooting
If you don't see the app: Confirm the Slack integration is completed in Partner Portal → Settings → Slack, and that your workspace access policy allows your user
If PAM doesn't respond to DMs: Ensure that your associated Euler customer has enabled PAM for Partners. Also, bot messages and edited messages are filtered out — only original user messages are processed
If customer selector doesn't appear: You may have only one customer with PAM enabled, in which case it's auto-selected. If you have no PAM-enabled customers, you'll see an access unavailable message
If AI prefill is inaccurate: The AI extracts what it can from the message text — you can always manually edit any field before submitting
If referral status doesn't update in Slack: The update is triggered by the Euler platform when the status changes. Ensure the original confirmation message hasn't been deleted
If PAM doesn't respond in a Slack Connect channel: The customer needs to have mapped the channel to your partnership. Ask the customer to add the Euler app to the channel and complete the partner mapping
