How to Enable SSO in Your Application

To enable Single Sign-On (SSO) in Euler for your company, follow the steps below.

πŸ’‘ Please Note: In order to enable SSO you must first add SSO to your Euler subscription. Please reach out to [email protected] for more information.

1. Initial Requirements

  • Only admin users can configure SSO.

  • Your company must have one of the following compatible identity providers:

    • Okta

    • Entra ID (Azure AD)

    • Google Workspace

    • CyberArk

    • JumpCloud

    • OneLogin

    • PingFederate

    • Rippling

    • Custom SCIM

    • SFTP

2. Enabling SSO

The first step is to enable SSO. Once activated, any user within your organization will be able to log in and create an account on the platform.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Go to Settings > Users and click on Enable SSO.

  2. Provide the email domains that should be allowed to authenticate with your company.

  3. You will be redirected to a configuration page. Follow the steps according to your chosen identity provider.

Each provider has its own setup process. Once completed, SSO will be fully activated, allowing users in your organization to authenticate via Single Sign-On.

Additional Configuration Options

After enabling SSO, we strongly recommend proceeding with the next steps for better security and control:

  • Assigning Role Types β†’ Define the user permissions when they log in via SSO.

  • Enabling Directory Sync β†’ Synchronize your user directory with Euler.

3. Connecting Directory Sync

Directory Sync allows complete integration between your user directory and Euler.

With Directory Sync enabled, you can:

  • Automatically synchronize all users in your organization.

  • Limit access to specific user groups defined by your company.

Why Enable Directory Sync?

With Directory Sync, your organization has full control over who can access Euler. When a user is created, updated, or deleted in your identity provider, the same changes are automatically applied to Eulerβ€”ensuring only authorized users have access.

This is the most secure way to integrate SSO with Euler.

Summary of the Process

βœ” Enable SSO β†’ Allows users to log in and create accounts.

βœ” Define User Permissions β†’ Set roles for new users authenticating via SSO.

βœ” Activate Directory Sync β†’ Synchronize authorized users and enhance security.

By following these steps, your organization will have a more secure and efficient access management system.
